
MIGNONETTE SAUCE
How to make delicious mignonette sauce!
Ingredients:

1 shallot, peeled and minced.

1 tsp. freshly cracked black pepper.

1 cup red wine vinegar.

1 tbsp. fresh lemon juice.
Instructions:

Prepare Shallot: Peel and finely mince 1 shallot.

Crack Black Pepper: Measure 1 teaspoon of freshly cracked black pepper.

Combine Ingredients: In a mixing bowl, combine the minced shallot and cracked black pepper.

Add Red Wine Vinegar: Pour 1 cup of red wine vinegar into the bowl with the shallot and black pepper.

Squeeze Lemon Juice: Add 1 tablespoon of fresh lemon juice to the mixture.

Mix Thoroughly: Stir the ingredients together until well combined.

Refrigerate: Cover the bowl with plastic wrap or transfer the mignonette sauce to a jar with a tight-fitting lid. Refrigerate the sauce until you are ready to serve it with oysters.
