OYSTERS WITH GINGER AND ONIONS
Modify your oysters!
Ingredients:

2 tbsp. oyster sauce.

1 tbsp. cornstarch.

1 tsp. sugar.

1 tbsp. soy sauce.

Sesame oil.

¼ cup water.

3 tbsp. oil.

1 inch fresh ginger, peeled and thinly sliced.

1 medium onion, thinly sliced.
-
3-4 green onions, cut into 1 to 2-inch pieces, white and green parts separated.

1 lb. oysters, drained.

Instructions:

Prepare Sauce: In a small bowl, mix together oyster sauce, cornstarch, sugar, soy sauce, a few drops of sesame oil, and water. Set aside.

Heat Oil: Heat 3 tablespoons of oil in a wok or large skillet until very hot.

Stir-Fry Aromatics: Add the thinly sliced ginger, onion, and the white parts of the green onions to the hot oil. Cook briefly, stirring to infuse the oil with flavors.

Add Oysters: Add the drained oysters to the wok or skillet. Cover and cook for 2 minutes.

Incorporate Sauce: Stir in the prepared sauce and add the green parts of the green onions. Bring the mixture to a boil and cook for an additional 2 minutes or until the sauce slightly thickens.

Serve: Serve the Oysters with Ginger and Onions hot over rice.
