Create your own sauce!


  • 4 green onions, finely chopped.

  • ¼ cup hot mustard.

  • 1½ tbsp. prepared horseradish.

  • 2 tbsp. finely chopped pimento.

  • ¼ cup chopped parsley.

  • Salt to taste.

  • 1 small rib celery, finely chopped.

  • ½ cup mayonnaise.

  • 2 tbsp. olive oil.

  • ¼ cup tarragon vinegar.

  • Cayenne pepper to taste.


  1. Chop Green Onions: Finely chop 4 green onions.

  2. Prepare Mustard Mixture: In a mixing bowl, combine the chopped green onions with ¼ cup hot mustard and 1½ tablespoons of prepared horseradish.

  3. Add Pimento and Parsley: Stir in 2 tablespoons of finely chopped pimento and ¼ cup of chopped parsley.

  4. Season with Salt: Add salt to taste, keeping in mind that the remoulade will develop flavors over time.

  5. Incorporate Celery: Mix in the finely chopped small rib of celery.

  6. Mayonnaise and Olive Oil: Add ½ cup of mayonnaise and 2 tablespoons of olive oil to the bowl.

  7. Tarragon Vinegar: Pour ¼ cup of tarragon vinegar into the mixture.

  8. Add Cayenne Pepper: Season with cayenne pepper to achieve the desired level of spiciness.

  9. Mix Thoroughly: Stir all the ingredients together until well combined.

  10. Refrigerate: Cover the bowl with plastic wrap or transfer the remoulade to a container with a tight-fitting lid. Refrigerate the remoulade until it's ready to be used.

  11. Serve: This Spicy Remoulade can be used as a zesty and flavorful dipping sauce or topping for various dishes.


This recipe makes approximately 1½ cups of delicious Spicy Remoulade.


Adjust the quantity of cayenne pepper according to your spice preference. The remoulade can be refrigerated for some time, allowing the flavors to meld and intensify for an even tastier experience. Enjoy the bold and spicy kick of this versatile sauce!
